1. Go to the settings panel of Videogate system object.

2. Names of local (net, USB) disks, accessible for archive of Videogate module are given in the column Disk (12).

   title Attention!
   For Windows Vista and Windows 7 OS with connected UAC it’s necessary to connect net disks through command prompt with Administrator’s rights.  The way of connection is described in Connecting network disks in Windows Vista and Windows 7 OS part.

   To use net disks as an archive,  set UNC paths to them in Axxon PSIM software. Details of working with net disks in Axxon PSIM software that is installed as a s a Service are described in Working with Windows OS services for operating Axxon PSIM™ installed as a Service.

   
   

3. In the column GB there is a size of free space on disk in GB (23).
4. In the column Video put the check mark for disks, selected for storing archive of Videogate module (31).
5. To add a net disk via entering the UNC path, do the following:
   
   1. Go to the last line in the Disk list and click Down key.

   2. Enter the path to a net file in the appeared line in Disk column.UNC  path path is set in format «\\server_name\share_name», where «server_name»  is file server’s name and  «share_name» is name» is net name of generalfolder.
   3. Set the checkbox for created disk in Video column.
6. To save the set changes click Apply button (4).
