The repair mode is used to re-install reinstall all Axxon PSIM™ software components components. Use this function when, for example, some files were accidentally deleted from the installation directory.

To launch the repair mode, you need to restart Axxon PSIM™ software installation from the installation kit, without deleting the previous version of the program. For correct repairing . To restore Axxon PSIM correctly, make sure that installation kit the distribution package is located in the same directory path as when it was during installation was performed or enable or that the operating system is configured to save the *.msi files cashing in the OScache.

To repairAxxon PSIM™ software, do the following:

1.  Open the folder containing the unpacked installation kit distribution package.
   

2. Run setupthe Setup.exe executable file , designed used for running the Axxon PSIM software install installation program.
   As a result, the Select Action dialog box is displayed.

   The following files may be run for repairing the Axxon PSIM software instead  instead of Setup.exe: Product.msi – to repair the Axxon PSIM™; Redist.exe – to install additional components.

   

3. To select Axxon PSIM ™ software components repair mode, select Repair installation type and click Next.
   The Repairing Axxon PSIM dialog box is displayed.
   
   The Software Installation dialog box is displayed.
   
4. To continue Axxon PSIM ™ software installation, click Continue Anyway.
   As soon as all files are copied, the Repair Complete dialog box is displayed.
   
5. Click the Finish button.
