The sensor icon of a sensor on the map indicates its  Floor plan map shows the current state of the sensor:

Icon	State
Image RemovedImage Added	Sensor is armed
Image RemovedImage Added	Alarm event confirmed
Image RemovedImage Added	Sensor is connected to the System
Image RemovedImage Added	Sensor is disconnected in the System
Image RemovedImage Added	Sensor connection is lost

Also, the The current state of the sensor is also indicated by the icon background color:

To control a sensor on the map, click select its icon, and the context menu will appearopen:
