Camera
  • Resolution of 256x256 pixels or higher
  • Color: analytics works with both gray and color images
  • No camera shake
Lighting
  • The best performance of the detection tool is achieved under moderate lighting. In conditions of insufficient (night) or excessive (light-striking) lighting, the algorithm performance can decrease

  • No abrupt changes in lighting

Scene and camera angle
  • The background is mostly static and doesn’t change abruptly
  • Analytics can not work correctly:
    • on reflective surfaces and if there are sharp shadows from moving objects
    • if there is a repeating pattern in the scene (crosswalk)
    • if there are objects in the scene that look like people (monuments, animals)
    • if there are periodic movements of background objects in the camera FOV (trees, rain, and so on)
