Updating the OS doesn't affect the performance of Axxon One. However, before updating the OS, we recommend backing up the configuration (see Configuration backup).

There are two options to update Axxon One in Linux OS: from the repository and from the folder.

After the update is completed, you must check the access rights permissions of the archive file and the folder where it is stored. 
The ngp user must be specified as the owner of both the file and the folder.
