To configure the License plate recognition (BRS) detection tool, do the following:
Submit to the
AxxonSoft managertechnical support the MAC address of the Server
whereon which you will use the detection tool
will be used.
Note title Attention! The detection tool will not won't operate on the Server with a different MAC address.
- Copy the license received from the AxxonSoft manager into the technical support into the C:\Program Files\Common Files\AxxonSoft\DetectorPack\BioirisSDK\License.txt file.
Restart the Server (see Shutting down a Server, Starting a Server).
To create the License plate recognition (BRS) detection tool, do the following:
- Go to the Detection Tools tab.
- Create the Below the required camera, click Create… → Category: Vehicle → License plate recognition (BRS) object and select it.

By default, the detection tool is enabled and set to recognize vehicle license plates.
If necessary, you can change the detection tool parameters. The list of parameters is given in the table:
