System developer has provided an API to enable the use of your commands in ACFA PSIM and the ACFA PSIM commands in your software. In order to connect the equipment to ACFA PSIM, you must install the full version of the third-party software and configure its interaction with ACFA PSIM. For SOFT-SOFT type of integration, the equipment connection interface isn't specified, ACFA PSIM isn't connected directly to the equipment, but to third-party software. We recommend you to contact the manufacturer of such software to specify the equipment connection interface.

Generic protocol

Generic protocol integration:

OPC and BACnet are industry standards. System developer makes OPC server or BACnet server implementation for their devices and transfers data via OPC or BACnet protocol. ACFA PSIM is a client of such servers and receives data (events, reactions, configuration commands, and so on);
SNMP is a network protocol, which allows monitoring of some devices;
Modbus is a communication protocol, which allows devices to communicate with each other, exchange data and commands. You can use it to monitor and control various devices such as sensors, actuating devices and controllers

Drivers Pack

Integration by one of the above methods via Drivers Pack. When you use this type of integration, you must install ACFA PSIM and Drivers Pack (version 3.49 and higher) to work with the equipment

Module is used to connect devices that use it for operation. Apache ActiveMQ is the most popular multiprotocol message broker with open source code, based on Java. Apache ActiveMQ translates messages from sender to receiver.
