By default, an operator is forbidden to administer any objects. If an operator is granted access to one or more the operator has access to all tabs of the System Settingssettings window, they automatically receive the . As a result, the operator is automatically granted permissions to administer, control manage, and view monitor all system objects on these the tabs.
When the operator has the permissions for control functions, they can use the The permission to use control functions allows the operator to use interface buttons, menu items commands, and other interface elements allowing to control that allow controlling the corresponding objects (cameras, microphones, telemetry, event Event viewer, etc)and so on) for which the use of these functions is provided. In addition to overall the general restriction of on object control functions, the separate commands can be prohibited (see you can set a restriction on the execution of individual commands (see Limiting access to sending commands (reactions)).
Viewing functions allow The use of monitoring functions is limited to the ability of the operator to view the interface components ((visually monitor) objects such as user screens, surveillance monitors, panels of Backup archive window, video images coming from cameras, microphone indicators , etc.).in surveillance windows, and so on.
You can prohibit the operator from administering By default, operator can have a full access to administrator, operator and control functions of the objects with the given functions. To limit the operator access to the administration of certain objects of administer, control, and monitor objects of Axxon PSIM, do the following:
Go to the Objects tab (3). The object tree corresponds to the permissions of the current Axxon PSIM operator user. In the object tree, to the left of each object, there is a field that you can be edited—it edit—it indicates the Operator’s operator’s permissions to administer, control, and view monitor system objects. The names of the icons correspond to the names of objects, the administration, control, and viewing monitoring of which can be available to the Operator operator with the appropriate permissions. The correspondence of the icon type to the Operator’s operator’s permissions is given in the table

The administrativePermissions to administer, control or viewing permissions to interface , and monitor objects depend on the permissions to the the Computer objects. The permissions to the Computer object have a higher priority. For example, if the user permissions allow the administration of the Display object , but prohibit the administration of the Computer object to which this Display is assigned, then a user logged on to the computer prohibited for administration will not won't be able to administer the Display object (see also Assigning the displays to the operator workstations). |
The following hotkeys can be used for objects tree controlWhen you configure operator permissions, the following keyboard shortcuts are available to control the object tree from the keyboard:
| Key | Function |
| + | Grants all permissions to the selected objects (sets the gray markcheckbox) |
- | Forbids the selected object (sets the red cross) |
| Space | Sequential change of the permissions to the selected object in the direction of increasing (forbidden-monitoring-control-administration and then cyclically) |
| Left and right arrows | Expand/collapse the selected tree branch |
| / | Fully collapse the selected branch of the objects object tree |
| * | Fully expand the selected branch of the objects object tree |
| Shift + / | Fully collapse all branches of the objects object tree. This view will be is saved for the current user even after Axxon PSIM restart is restarted |
| Shift + * | Fully expand all branches of the objects objec tree. This view will be is saved for the current user even after after Axxon PSIM restart is restarted |
You can also expand and collapse the tree Expanding and collapsing the tree functions are also available when you right-click on an object in the object tree (see The Expand tree function and The Collapse tree function).
