You can configure the People counter detection program module on the settings panel of the People counter detection object that is created on the basis of the Camera object on the Hardware tab of the System settings dialog window.

The To configure the People counter detection module is configured as follows program module, do the following:

1. Go to the settings panel of the People counter detection object.
   
2. Click the Settings button (1). The Detection settings window opens.
   
3. Specify the area of interest on the video:
   1. Click the Stop video button to capture the frame of the video image (1).
   2. Click the Area of interest button (2).

   3. On the captured video image (3), specify the detection area. Click in To do this, click the frame area and stretch the frame borders border that limit limits the surveillance area to the required size. You can add only one area. If When you try to add a the second area, the first area will be one is deleted.

      To remove an the area, click the the Image Modified button next to the Area of interest button. The area of interest is divided into two sectors—1 and 2. If an object moves from sector 1 to sector 2, it is logged as considered the entry of a visitor. If the visitor an object moves from sector 2 to sector 1, it is logged as considered an exit.

      

   4. Specify the required size, shape, and position of the sectors in the area of interest by moving their borders (1).
   5. If you want to swap sectors 1 and 2, click the Change sectors button (2).
4. Specify the approximate person size as followson the image:
   1. Click the Size of person button (3).

   2. On the captured frame of the video image, specify the approximate person size as a the rectangular area using the mouse (4).

5. Configure the module parameters:
   1. Go to the Parameters tab of the Detection settings window (1).
      
   2. In the Frames processed per second [0.016, 100] field (2), specify the number of frames per second that the detection tool detector processes.
   3. Set the Reduce large resolution checkbox to create and process
   a
   4. the new frame consisting of even lines of the initial
   frame

6. Click the OK (4) OK button to save the changes and return to the settings panel of the People counter detection object.On
7. Click the Apply button on the settings panel of the People counter detection object
