To edit detection tool's masks, go to the Surveillance windows, Processing submenuYou can edit the mask of the detector using the function menu of the surveillance window. To edit the mask, select Processing in the menu.
To enter the mask editing mode, select a detector in the the Detector mask submenu. The first detection tool detector in the list is the main motion detector (the Main item), followed by auxiliary video detection toolsadditional motion detectors. If a main detection tool there is the only detection tool, then the only one main motion detector present, the submenu for selecting detectors doesn't appear. The Detector mask item will be is displayed instead of the detection tool selection submenu.

You cannot access the archive in the mask editing mode. Vice versa, And you cannot enter the access mask editing mode in the archive viewing mode. |
After you enable masking is enabled, a black crosshairs appear cross appears in the center of the video image. The crosshairs can be moved up or down, by pressing the up arrow and down arrow You can move this cross up and down the image using the up and down keys on the keyboard.
Masks are applied as rectangular areas. A mask is imposed by a left clickTo apply a mask, use the left mouse button: select a dot point on the screen, click press the left mouse button, and pressing , without releasing the button, draw a rectangle – the . The resulting mask area will be filled with black dots.

If after applying the mask you press the Enter key on the keyboard, the mode is enabled , in which editing and deleting masks is impossible. In this case, the crosshairs at cross in the center of the video become turns white. To exit this mode, press the Esc key. |

When quitting you exit the mask editing mode, rectangles with dots, that have bordered mask areas, vanish from the surveillance window. Nevertheless, mask areas are still active, i.e. no surveillance occurs in these areas.the dotted rectangles of the masked area disappear. However, the masked areas remain functional—no detection is performed within them. |
