In Axxon PSIM, it is possible to you can prohibit the operator from accessing playback of playing back video archives from using the video server or Backup archive using the Video surveillance monitorsurveillance monitor (server archives and backup archive).

If the operator is denied access to video archives, the button for entering accessing the archive isn't displayed in the Video video surveillance monitor window, and the functions described in this section are also unavailable.

By default, operators are allowed access to archive playback.

If the user doesn't have rights to view the archive for certain dates, only the dates with archived recordings that are allowed to be viewed are displayed in the video surveillance monitor. These dates are highlighted in bold in the calendar that you can open by double-clicking a date in the video surveillance monitor.
