To add a new system variableSystem variables store the data about several directories of the operating system and computer. To create them, do the following:

1. Go to Control panel → System → Advanced system settings.
2. Click the Environment Variables... button.
3. Under System variables group, click the New... button.
4. Specify the name and value of variable.
   
5. Click the OK button.
