You can enter text in the variable settings during the object parameters configuration using the built-in embedded ArpEdit editor. This Use this editor should be used when you want to fill in a the text field with data from a the text file or a enter the large amount of data.

To enter text using the editor, follow these stepsdo the following:

1. Click the  next button next to the required text field.
   
2. Open the The Editor window opens.

3. Enter text in the text field (1).
4. If you want to paste the text into a the text field from a the text file, then click File… (2) the File… button and select the required text fileusing the standard open file dialog box, select the required text file. Text window. The text from the selected file will appear is displayed in the text field (1).
5. Click the OK (3)button.
