Function

The alarm notification message window is used to inform the Operator about registered alarm and system events.

Functions

The alarm notification message window provides:

  1. Auto notification to Operator of registered system events;
  2. Auto notification to Operator of registered alarm events;
  3. Operator control of processing registered alarm and system events.

Figure shows the alarm notification message window interface.

The alarm notification message window is not displayed by default – only default—only if the system had has registered an alarm or system event is it displayed over all other windows of the program user interface. If an alarm event occurs, the notification window appears on the screen, even if no other UI elements are visible at that time.
