To arm a microphone, select it in the microphone list and click .

If the strength level of the microphone signal , while being armed, exceeds the threshold when being armed, recording starts. Otherwise, the microphone is armed, and recording starts when the predefined threshold level of the microphone signal is exceeded. The current status of the recording process is indicated by the microphone indicator (see see Indicator of audio recording).
