A sensor is an external security device connected to the system.

The sensor may be operated can operate in the following modes:

  1. Circuit closure: the sensor is armed when the circuit is open, and whenever when the sensor circuit is closed, an alarm event is registered.
  2. Circuit interruption: the sensor is armed when the circuit is closed, and whenever when the sensor circuit is interrupted, an alarm event is registered.

Whenever When an alarm event is registered by a sensor, the Operator should operator must confirm that the event did take took place.

Each security device of the Sensor type type is equipped with an intrusion sensor , which that is a physical device, giving a specific warning to the Operator operator that an alarm event has occurred. The map displays symbols icons of the following types of intrusion sensors:

To operate the sensors, the Operator uses operator can use the map (see the Using Operations with sensors section) or pre-defined macro commands (predefined macros (the Run menu in the main control panel).
