The database backup copy is created using the idb.exe utility (see Creating the database backup copy). Database restoring Restoring databases from the backup copy is also performed using the idb.exe utility in the following way:

1. Run Open the idb.exe utility (see Starting and shutting down the idb.exe utility).

2. From the Select data source: drop-down list, select the MS SQL database – database—Basic data.

3.  Click the Click the Restore from backup (MS SQL)backup button (1).
   
4. Using the standard dialog box window for opening files, select the file created earlier file with the database backup copy.
   As a result, the process of database restoring databases from the backup copy will startstarts. Information about the process is displayed in the Protocol informational table (2).
   Restoring from the backup copy is completed when the Restoration from a backup copy is completed! message will be is displayed in the the Protocol table.
5. To finish the work, click the OK button . The window will close automatically (3).(3). As a result, the window closes automatically.
