The Incident server is used for storing events that need to must be processed using the Incident handler. By default, the Incident server events are stored in the PROTOCOL_INC_SERVER table of the Axxon PSIM PSIM database. The event storage period depth is set using the Events archive length setting the settings panel of the Computer system object (see Configuring event events logging).

You can enable the database logging of the query execution duration of the Incident server module using the LogDbQueryDuration=1 parameter of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\AxxonSoft\PSIM\Inc_Server registry key (for more details, see Axxon PSIM base version, for information on how to work with the registry, see Working with Windows OS registry).

The The Incident handler is used for selecting the events to that must be processed , and for configuring the processing rules for the Operatoroperator.

Both of these modules are required for the Incident manager interface object operation—using the Incident manager, the Operator operation—the operator can process events according to the specified rules by using this object.
