Map scaling allows zooming allows enlarging and reducing the size of the image shown in the Map window.

The scale is selected via You can select the scale of the zoom in the function menu of the Map that you map. You can access the menu by right-clicking any place on the  Map, which is map that is free from object icons.

To set the scalezoom, select the required scale value in the the Zoom submenu or click the Fit to window item that is used to set the scale , allowing the full Map that allows the full map image to fit into the Map window. The selected scale is saved when you restart Axxon PSIM.

Zoom an external map

If you select an external map is selected as the layer background (see Configuring the external Map server), then the map scale is also selected using the Zoom item in the function menu, ; however, the scale is set as a number from 1 to 19 (4 by default). The current value is displayed in the bottom line of the Zoom submenu.

You can also scale the external map using the mouse wheel while holding down the Ctrl key on the keyboard.
