  1. Select Start All programs  Axxon PSIM  Remove.

    The dialog window for selecting the type of action opens. 
  2. Select the Remove action.
  3. If you want to save the Axxon PSIM settings in the database, set the Save program settings and configuration files (recommended) checkbox.

    If you make changes in the sync.xml file, then when you remove it with the configuration saved, the file isn't deleted, but the next time you install Axxon PSIM, it will be overwritten.
    If the user makes you make changes in the ddi or dbi filesinstalled with Axxon PSIM using the ddi.exe utility, these files are deleted when you remove Axxon PSIM with the configuration saved. If you create new ddi or dbi files, they will be saved.

    If you clear the Save program settings and configuration files (recommended) checkbox, the warning message appears.

    When you remove Axxon PSIM without saving the configuration, all ddi temporary and dbi service files created during installation, as well as the sync.xml file, are deleteduser settings of the program, are deleted.

  4. Click the Next button.

Note that the name of the Axxon PSIM installation directory may can differ from the default name (C:\Program Files\Axxon PSIM).

In some cases, before removing the you remove the Axxon PSIM installation directory (for instanceexample, folders/Axxon PSIM), you must restart Windows OS.

We don't recommend removing the Axxon PSIM installation directory if you plan to reinstall Axxon PSIM. This directory contains:

  1. Folders with video recordings and
  2. video recording
  3. frames exported during Axxon PSIM operation.
  4. Log files containing the information about module operations as well as the list of objects that exceed the limit of the Axxon PSIM license key.
  5. Backup copies of these files.

Removing Removal of Axxon PSIM from the Start menu is complete.
