The time display is located in the upper right corner of the Surveillance surveillance window.

Depending on the settings (see Configuring time displaysee User Interface), the time display can show the date Image Modified.

Current The current time of the client is shown on the time display in the real time live mode: Image Modified.

In the Archive, Alarm management, and Archive Search modes, it shows the time of the video that you are viewing and the playback mode:

  1. Forward playback: Image Modified.
  2. Reverse playback: Image Modified.
  3. Pause: Image Modified.

If the video is currently being recorded from the camera, the letter R is displayed in red color to the right of the time display: Image Modified. 

If there's no recording to the archive for the camera, but the camera has an embedded storage and it is enabled (see see Embedded storage), the "no record" status is displayed in the product interface, that is, the letter R is displayed in gray color: Image Modified

If the camera isn't linked to the archive, the letter R is crossed out: Image Modified.
