Only two Servers servers can be added into a 1+1 configuration.
Setting up 1+1 configuration
To initialize a 1+1 configuration, add a second Server server to the configuration. To do this, enter the IP address and click LINK.
...
In this case, the master node will be located on the Server server from which the cluster was initialized.
...
- Combine the master and the backup nodes into one domain (see Adding a Server to an existing domain).
- Create a local archive on the master node (see Creating an archive).
- Add video cameras on the master node (see Searching, adding, configuring, and removing IP devices).
- Set up video camera recording to the local archive (see Configuring recording to an archive).
- Create an archive for replication on the backup node.
- Set up the replication from the local archive to the archive for replication (see Configuring data replication). The replication period should be set to Always.
...
When the master node is migrated to the backup Serverserver:
- a temporary archive will be automatically created in the С:/temp_arch folder of the backup Server as a 10 GB file;
- video cameras will record into the temporary archive;
- replication from the temporary archive to the archive for replication will be simultaneous.
If the master node is migrated bask to the master Serverserver, the recording will be made to the local archive.
...
- to view the recordings when the master node was on the master Serverserver, use the local archive;
- to view the recordings when the master node was on the backup Serverserver, use the archive for replication (see Selecting an archive).

|
- If the backup Server server fails when the system is running, you cannot stop the master node.
- If the backup Server server is unavailable, you cannot restart the master node.
- If the main node is located on the backup Serverserver, then face recognition and license plate recognition by lists using detection tools will not be available until the main node is moved back to the master Serverserver.
