1. Go to the Hardware tab in the System settings window.
   
2. In the object tree on the Hardware tab, select the Camera object corresponding to the camera that you want to adjust.
3. Go to the Advanced settings tab on the settings panel of the Camera object.

4. In the Additional info field, specify a line of at least 100 characters.

   The color of additional information displayed on the surveillance monitor changes according to the state of the camera. For example, if the camera is recording, the text is red; otherwise, it is white. You can set an unchanging arbitrary color using the MonitorExtraTextColor parameter of the MonitorExtraTextColor key of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AxxonSoft\PSIM\Video registry section (for details, see Registry keys reference guide).

5. To save the changes in Axxon PSIM, click the Apply button.
