Integration with ECHD requires Intellect user credentials that do not contain special characters (such as \, /, :, *, ?, |, ", etc.) in the login and password—it is a specific feature of configuring the stream transmission via RTSP.

Integration with Single Data Center (ECHD (Unified data center) is supported in Intellect. Requests to Intellect are made in ECHD usingHTTP API – see API—see Intellect HTTP API document. Some requests have http/https interface. These requests are used to get info on configuration. The rtsp RTSP Server bound to the Web-server object streams live or archived video.

Besides binding the Web server to the RTSP server, the ECHD channel objects are to be created under the Camera object for ECHD requests performanceoperation.

Bind rtsp Server RTSP Server object to process ECHD requests as follows:

  1. Go to the General Basic settings tab on the settings panel of the Web-server object (1).
  2. Set the ECHD translation checkbox checked (2).
  3. Select created and pre-configured rtsp Server RTSP Server object in the rtsp Server dropdown RTSP Server drop-down list (3).

  4. If the CCTV servers are located behind NAT when interacting with the ECHD, then to use the NAT address (4), set the Use NAT address checkbox to substitute the router address in the ECHD requests.

  5. Click the Apply button (45).

The rtsp Server RTSP Server object is now bound to Web-server object.
