General information about VisionLabs module licensing

VisionLabs software module is licensed according to the following scheme:

Module in useLicensing scheme

Visitor counting channel

By the number of channels

Archive search channel

By the number of channels

Recognition channel

By the number of faces in the database

Thus, the intellect.sec key file is purchased for each camera in use and a certain number of faces stored in the database. Additional key files are not required.

To use the VisionLabs software module in multi-threading mode, the number of faces in the database is determined as follows:

For example:

  • If CpuCoreCount = 4, and the configuration includes 4 or more face detectors, then a license for 104 reference faces should be purchased for a database with 100 reference faces.
  • If CpuCoreCount = 4, and the configuration includes 1 face detector, then a license for 101 reference faces should be purchased for a database with 100 reference faces.

In both cases, the actual number of reference faces that can be contained in the database will be 100.

You also need to purchase a software key from VisionLabs and apply it in the Sentinel Admin Control Center web portal (http://127.0.0.1:1947)install the SDK VisionLabs and purchase an additional license from VisionLabs, which is presented in the form of a software key.

Installing the SDK of the VisionLabs recognition module

Before activating the security key, you need to install the SDK VisionLabs. To do this, download the SDK VisionLabs 5.4.1 installer from the AxxonSoft website and extract the data folder from it to <Face Intellect installation directory>\Modules64\Firserver\FaceRecognition\VisionLabs.

Activation of the VisionLabs recognition module security key

To activate the VisionLabs recognition module security key, purchase a software key from VisionLabs. The software key will contain activation data: EID and ProductID (Product key). Enter these data in the license.conf file located at <Face Intellect installation directory>\Modules64\Firserver\FaceRecognition\VisionLabs\data.
