Depending on detection tool settings, a delay may occur between the number recognition and the registration of the corresponding event (see Configuring License plate recognition (VT), Configuring License plate recognition (IV)).

The event is time-stamped with the time of recognition, not registration.

For example, if a car passes the camera at 12:05:00, and the detection tool is set to a 10 sec timeout, the event  event will be registered at 12:05:10 and the event data will include 12:05:00 as the time of recognition.
