The To configure the neurotracker track counter is configured as follows, do the following:

  1. Go to the settings panel of the Track counter object settings panel, which is created on the basis of the the Neurotracker object.

  2. On Specify the surveillance area on the video image , specify the surveillance area, within in which the track counter will count the neurocounter counts objects:
    1. Click the Settings button (1). As a result, the Detection settings window will openopens.
    2. Click the Stop video button (1) to capture a frame of the video image.
    3. Click the Area of interest button (2) and select specify the area , within which the track counter will count the neurotracker counts objects (3).

      To delete the selected area, click the  button  button (4).

    4. Click the OK button (5).
  3. If you don't set the Generate event only when the number is changed check box is not set checkbox (4), then from the Counter period drop-down list (2), select the counter period time unit: seconds, minutes, hours, days. Then in the field (3), specify enter the time in through which the event containing the total the total number of objects recorded for a the given time period will be is generated.
    The allowable range of values for the time units: seconds, minutes, hours—from 1 to 100, days—from 1 to 20.

    If the entered value exceeds the allowable range, then after you click the Apply button, the maximum value is set automatically.

  4. Set the Set the Generate event only when the number is changed checkbox (4) if it is necessary you want to generate events only when changing the number of recorded objects changes.

    If this check box is set, the you set this checkbox, the Counter period field becomes inactive, and the specified value of the counter period is ignored.

  5. If objects are lost during the track counter operation, then for more accurate counting, set the Set number of frames for counting checkbox (5) and , and in the field (6), enter the number of frames that will be are analyzed to calculate the average objects object number.

    The value of the number of frames for counting is selected experimentally depending on the neural network used. Recommended values are: 3, 5, 7, 9.

  6. Click the Apply button (7).
