You can start the Axxon One client from:
- AxxonOne shortcut on the desktop.
- Start menu → All Programs → Axxon One → Axxon One.
- Start Axxon One notification area (see Tray Tool utility).
- command line by specifying the login, password and server parameters. All parameters are optional.
To launch the Client from command line, you have to specify the following parameters: login, password and Server.
- For example: C:\Program Files\AxxonSoft\Axxon One\bin>Axxon One.exe --login=root --password=root --server=127.0.0.1

- In the Server name or IP address field, select the server to which you want to connect. If a remote user connects to the server, enter the name or IP address of the computer with

Note title Attention! If you specify localhost as the name of the server or a node, the server doesn't start.

The order of the Servers - in which the servers are displayed in the list is as follows
- :
- Preferred
Servers - servers (see Selecting Preferred Servers).

latest Server - last server that was connected to.
- Other
Servers are - servers found on the network in alphabetical order
.- In the Username field, enter the username of the Axxon One user.
- In the Password field, enter the password of the current Axxon One user.
- Click the Connect button.
Note title Attention! The root user, which has administrator permissions, logs into the system first. Enter root into the Username and Password fields. As a result, a window opens in which you must enter a new password twice.
When you hover the cursor over the icon, a tooltip opens in the User Name and Password fields. The administrator then needs to which you can see the requirements for a new password (see Security policy). Click the Apply button to save the new password.
You must securely save the new password (see How to recover the password of the root user (superuser)?).
Then the administrator must configure the system for multi-user access
described in detail in the section titled Configuring user permissions.(see Users).
- If the system administrator must confirm the user login (see Roles, Supervisor confirmation):
- In the Supervisor field, enter the appropriate login.
- In the Password field, enter the supervisor password.
- Click the Connect button.
Select a Server to connect to, and specify a port number.

You need to match software versions between the Server and the Client. The DriversPack version must be the same as well. It is strongly recommended to avoid any connections if the product versions do not match. |

If the user requires the access confirmation by the system administrator, enter corresponding credentials and click Connect.
If authorization is successful, the physical monitor will display a video surveillance monitor.
