Examples of macros used when working with lists of license plates |
General information
When working with lists of license plates, you can configure a macro to start (see General information about macros), when:
- the recognized license plate is present in the selected list;
- the recognized license plate is absent in the selected list;
- it is necessary to recognize the presence of the specific license plate in a list;
- the recognized license plate is absent in all created lists.
Presence of the recognized license plate in the selected list
To configure a macro that starts when the recognized license plate is present in the selected list of license plates, do the following:
- Go to the Programming tab.
- In the Event rules list, click Create....
- In the start conditions, select the required camera → the License plate recognition event → required list of license plates.
- Select the Presence option.
- Click the button and select the action that will be performed when an event from the start conditions occurs (see Examples of macros).
- Click the Apply button.
Configuration of a macro that starts when the recognized license plate is present in the selected list of license plates is complete.
Absence of the recognized license plate in the selected list
To configure a macro that starts when the recognized license plate is absent in the selected list of license plates, do the following:
- Go to the Programming tab.
- In the Event rules list, click Create....
- In the start conditions, select the required camera → the License plate recognition event → required list of license plates.
- Select the Absence option.
- Click the button and select the action that will be performed when an event from the start conditions occurs (see Examples of macros).
- Click the Apply button.
Configuration of a macro that starts when the recognized license plate is absent in the selected list of license plates is complete.
Presence of the specific license plate in the selected list
To configure a macro that starts when a specific license plate is present in the list of license plates, do the following:
- Go to the Programming tab.
- In the Event rules list, click Create....
- In the start conditions, select the required camera → the License plate recognition event → required list of license plates.
- Select the Presence option.
- Select the required license plate from the drop-down list. To select another license plate, clear the field and re-open the list.
- Click the button and select the action that will be performed when an event from the start conditions occurs (see Examples of macros).
- Click the Apply button.
Configuration of a macro that starts when a specific license plate is present in the list of license plates is complete.
Absence of the recognized license plate in all created lists
To configure a macro that starts when the recognized license plate is absent in all created lists of license plates, do the following:
- Go to the Programming tab.
- In the Event rules list, click Create....
- In the start conditions, select the required camera → the License plate recognition event → Not listed.
- Click the button and select the action that will be performed when an event from the start conditions occurs (see Examples of macros).
- Click the Apply button.
Configuration of a macro that starts when the recognized license plate is absent in all created lists of license plates is complete
When you are working with vehicles groups, you can configure the macros to trigger on the following events:
- If the target number shows up in the selected vehicles group.
- If the target number does not show up in the selected vehicles group.
- Recognition of a specific number from the selected vehicles group.
- If the target number does not show up in all available vehicles groups.
- Recognition of any number from any vehicles group.
Target number shows up in the selected vehicles group
In this case, configure the macro as follows:
- Go to the Start conditions in the License plate recognition group and select the required vehicles group (1).
- Leave the field 2 empty.
- The status of the Presence toggle (3).
The target number does not show up in the selected vehicles group
In this case, configure the macro as follows:
- Go to the Start conditions in the License plate recognition group and select the required vehicles group (1).
- Leave the field 2 empty.
- The status of the Absence toggle (3).
Recognition of a specific number from the selected vehicles group
In this case, configure the macro as follows:

Select a specific number plate in field 2.
