General information

This command starts the replication process.macro starts the replication process—copying blocks of information of a fixed size (video, audio, metadata) from one archive to another within the domain (see Configuring data replication).

Configuring an action

To configure the macro, do To configure the command, perform the following:

  1. Configure on-demand replication (see Configuring data replication) if replication is performed from the archive
  2. (see Configuring data replication)
  3. . To replicate from the
  4. on-board storage (SD card or other storage embedded in the video camera)
  5. embedded storage of a camera, enable the corresponding object (
  6. The Embedded storage object
  7. see Embedded storage).
  8. Go to the Programming tab.
  9. In the Event rules or Cycle rules list, click Create... (see Configuring macros).
  10. Select a
  11. video camera or a group of cameras to replicate (1). An implicit selection of a video camera is also allowed −
  12. start condition that triggers a macro (see Configuring start conditions).
  13. Click the Image Added button below start conditions.
  14. From the drop-down list, select Camera: Start replication.
  15. In the Camera parameter, select a camera or group of cameras for replication. In addition, an implicit camera selection is allowed—Camera that initiated command execution.
