You can protect selected video recordings the selected part of the archive from being overwritten. To do this, do the following:

  1. Create a new archive (see Creating an archive) and configure on-demand replication for it (see Configuring data replication).
  2. Switch to the Archive Mode mode (see Switching to the Archive mode).
  3. Set Specify the time interval on the timeline (see see Standard video recordings export). Recordings from this range will be interval are copied to the new filearchive.
  4. Click the button .
  5. In the Export folder (1) field, select the archive where to which the selected recordings will be copied.

    You can replicate recorded video Replication is performed only to the "right" end (later point in time) of the archive. It is not possible to overwrite existing data in the archive.

    If the selected replication range starts and ends earlier  than the starting time of the mirror archive (e.g. you want to copy a hour of video footage from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., but the mirror archive starts at 11.a.m.), replication will not be possible interval is earlier than the end of the mirror archive, replication is impossible (the Export button is not availableunavailable).

  6. Click the Export button (2).

Selected recordings have now been are copied to the specified filearchive.
