Single-camera archive view mode

To view a single camera 's Archivearchive, do as followsthe following:

  1. Pick a Select the required camera on the camera cameras panel or on the layout.
  2. Click the Image Modified button.

    Video Footage opened by default is specified as Default Archive in settings (see Configuring recording to an By default, the archive that is set as a default archive opens (see Configuring the default archive).


  3. The archive navigation panel is then displayed , with the following interface featureselements:
    1. Timeline (1). Archive navigation via using the timeline in the Web-Client is the same as when working similar to the video surveillance in the Axxon One Client  Client (see see Navigating Using using the Timeline).

      You cannot resize the timeline in the Web-Client. By default, the timeline displays the current date's recordings. You can switch to another date using the position selection panel (see 3c).

      Similarly Similar to the regular Client (see The Timeline), alarms are indicated alarm flags and comment icons are displayed on the timeline as flags, and comments as icons.


    2. Playback control panel . Archive navigation via (2). The following operations are available for navigating in the archive using the playback panel in the Web-Client is the same as when working in the Axxon One Client (see Navigating using the Playback Panel).:
      Image Added—recording playback;
      Image Added—stop recording playback;
      Image Added—jump to the previous frame;
      Image Added—jump to the next frame;
      Image Added—jump to the previous recording;
      Image Added—jump to the next recording;
      The playback can be fast. You can also change the playback direction (forward/reverse) by dragging the slider on the panel or by clicking the digits. The digits indicate a fold increase of the playback speed. Minus indicates the reverse playback.

      • Reverse fast-forward playback of H.264 video is based on key frames, so it isn't smooth.
      • Audio is unavailable during fast forward and reverse playback of the archive video
      Fast reverse playback in H.264 format will be not smooth because of the use of I-frames

    3. Archive position selection panel (3). The archive position selection panel is opened by left-clicking the date above the timeline (see Archive position selection panel for the Web-Client).

      You can also navigate in the archive using the time indicator similar to the Client (see Navigating using the time indicator).


  4. To select an Archivearchive, do as followsthe following:
    1. click the name of the current Archive;
      Image Removedpick the Archive of interestarchive;

    2. select the required archive.

Multi-camera archive view mode

You can switch all cameras on the layout to the archive mode. To do this, click the Image Added button.

You can control the archive viewing using the playback control panel, the same as when viewing the archive of a single video camera.

When all cameras on the layout are in the archive mode, there is no audio playback. To playback the audio, you need to go to the archive of a single camera.

Access to viewing the archive of a camera depends on the settings of user access permissions to the camera (see Roles). If the user permissions are limited, then:

  • if there are several cameras with limited access to the archive on the layout, you can view the archive only in the multi-camera archive mode;
  • if you click a camera with limited access to the archive in the multi-camera archive mode, you don't go to the single-camera archive mode;

  • if there is only one camera with limited access to the archive on the layout, the buttons for changing the mode (archive, search) aren't displayed;

  • if the user is already in the archive mode or in the search in a single camera mode, and selects a camera with limited access to the archive, the user automatically goes to the live view mode for this camera, and the archive/search buttons aren't displayed.
