Axxon One has an embedded ONVIF server that you can use to add Axxon One as Axxon One has a built-in ONVIF Server using which Axxon One can be added as a video recorder to other software (for example, Onvif Device Manager (ODM) or Happytimesoft).

| ||
The ONVIF server doesn't support the use of cameras with MJPEG codec. To work with the ONVIF server, you must change the codec of cameras. |
To configure the ONVIF Serverserver, do the following:
Install Axxon One 2.0 together with DriverPack 3.73.79 and later.
Shut down - Stop the Server
- server (see Stopping
- Stop the server).
Create the NGP_ONVIFSERVER_ENDPOINT system variable (see
Appendix 9. Creating system variable). In the Variable value field,
field, specify the IP address of the local Axxon One
Serverserver.
- Start the Server
- server (see Starting the server).
- In the software (for example, Happytimesoft), add the Axxon One Server
- server as a device using the 8081 port.
The ONVIF Server server configuration is complete. The software will broadcast the video image from Axxon One in real time.
You can also add the ONVIF Server server to another Axxon One Server server as an ONVIF generic IP device (see Searching, adding, configuring, and removing IP devices).
The ONVIF Server server will be added to the configuration as an IP server (see The IP Server object) with corresponding video cameras.
