The Tracker object registers the object tracks in the camera FOV during recording and saves them into in the VMDA metadata storage.

To configure the Tracker object, do the following:

    Adjust
  1. Configure the basic settings.
  2. Optional:
  3. add
  4. configure a mask to disable analysis in any
  5. part(s)
  6. parts of the camera FOV.
  7. Optional: set
  8. detected object sizes
  9. the size of the detected objects or configure the perspective settings (see Configuring perspective).

Basic settings

To configure the Tracker object, do the following:

  1. Go to the Hardware tab in the System settings dialog
  2. box
  3. window.
  4. In the
  5. objects
  6. object tree
  7. in
  8. on the Hardware tab, select the Camera object, corresponding to the camera, the video image from which you want to analyze.
  9. Create the Tracker object on the
  10. base
  11. basis of the Camera object. The settings panel for the Tracker object
  12. appears
  13. is displayed on the right
  14. in the
  15. part of the Hardware tab.

  25. frames
  26. outlines are displayed on live video only

  27. , e.g. in Video

    • When the value is 0, the

  41. To allow the VMDA detectors to monitor the objects abandoned in the camera FOV, set the Abandoned objects detection checkbox (2). The video requirements for proper operation of this feature

  42. to operate
  43. are described in the Video requirements to be met for abandoned object detection tool of the Tracker object operation section, and the settings for VMDA

  44. detection tools
  45. detectors are described in the Creating and configuring the VMDA detection

    Specifics of configuration:

    1. To ensure the operation of the Abandoned objects detection,

  48. it is necessary to
    1. you must additionally configure the Abandoned object detector type (see Motion in the Area detection tool configuration).

    2. By default, if
  49. the
    1. you enable the Abandoned objects detection option
  50. is enabled
    1. , then when
  51. viewing
    1. you view the live video and archive

  56. ,
    1. or only the abandoned objects,
  57. it is necessary to

    2. The function of framing the abandoned and disappeared objects on the video image is available both for the standard and

  66. If you set the camera

  67. is installed
  68. on the moving object, set

  69. the
  70. the Camera shake removal checkbox (3) to stabilize the image and reduce the error in the detector operation.

    Note

  71.  When
  72. When you enable the Camera shake removal option
  73. is active

  82. Go to the Basic settings tab (5).
  83. In the Metadata sources table, set the checkboxes next to the objects used for metadata creation (6):
    1. Internal source. The resources of the Tracker object are used as the metadata source.
    2. Embedded detector. Metadata comes from the detectors embedded in the camera (see Embedded detectors).

  131. In the Objects in frame, no more than field (9), specify the maximum number of objects in the frame that are detected
  132. (9)
  133. by the tracker. If the number of objects is equal to or exceeds the specified value, then the MD_LIMIT event is generated (see CAM Camera section of Guide for creating scripts (programming)). If you don't set the parameter or it is
  134. not set or
  135. equal to 0, this event
  136. is not

Tracker mask

To disable analysis in the area that is in the camera FOV, in you must click the Tracker Set mask tab button (12) , click on the Set Tracker mask button tab (21) and specify and specify the area in the video preview area. It is possible to You can disable analysis in several areas, i.e. to , that is, set several masks. To set an additional mask, click the the Set mask button again and specify an additional masked area in the video preview area.

To If, after clicking the Set mask button, you want to zoom in on the video preview field mask setting area for a more precise selection of the masked area, right-click the video preview area while holding down the Shift key on the keyboard after clicking the Set mask button. The video opens in a separate window, the size of which you can be resized change by dragging its borders. After setting you set the mask in this window, close it by clicking the  button button in the upper right corner.
