The Speaker object is an the audio playback device.
The Speaker object is registered under on the basis of the Audio playback card object in on the Hardware tab in of the System settings dialog boxwindow.
To configure the Speaker object, do the following:
- Go to the setting settings panel of the Speaker object.
- Select From the Codec drop-down list (1), select the coding format of reproducible the played audio signal in the Codec dropdown list (1). The following codecs are supported:
- PCM
- G.711
- G711_alaw
- G721
- G.723
- G726_16
- G726_32
- IMA_ADPCM
- G726_SUN16
- G726_FFMPEG_16
- G726_FFMPEG_32
- G726_40
- G726_SUN24
- G726_FFMPEG_24
- G726_FFMPEG_40
- PCM_8
- VNDR.0.9
- Select the channel number of the speaker connection in sound to the audio card from the list of the same name (2).
- To save the changes, click the Apply button (3).
Select the created object in from the Speaker drop-down list on the Operator tab of the Computer object settings panel – see panel—see Selecting speaker, microphone and camera for SIP-operator.
- Click the Apply button.
