You In Axxon PSIM, you can place several graphical plans of the protected facilities in one window of the interactive map. Each graphical plan is represented registered by the Layer object.
Create To create and configure the Layer object as follows, do the following:
To edit the graphical plan of the protected facility, click the Edit layer button (4). The As a result, the Map editor utility will open, in which you can starts, designed to edit the graphical plan of the protected facility (layer).

| When If you start the Map editor utility is started, you cannot interact with the System settings dialog window is inactive. Close the the Map editor utility to continue working with the System settings dialog window. You cannot start the Map editor utility for several layers at a time. |
After you create and configure a new the layer, you must attach a the graphical plan of the protected facility to the created layerit, select the background color for the layer, or select a the map server to that can be used as a background for an external map. These types of backgrounds are mutually exclusive, that is, you can select only one of them. For example, if you select a file or an external map, the background color will not be isn't applied.
Attach To attach the graphical plan of the protected facility or select the background color as followsa background, do the following:
Open the Map editor utility and click the Edit layer button.

In the main menu of the Map editor utility, select Map → General settings.
As a result, the dialog window will open, in which you can select a the graphical file used as a plan of the protected facility opens.
You can open the panel for attaching a the graphical plan of the protected facility from the context menu of the map window field by selecting the Set background item.
Select To select the graphical file as of a background as follows, do the following:
Click the button button in the Settings dialog selection window.
As a result, the standard dialog window for selecting files will openopens:
Select In that window, you must select the required file in the window and click the the Open button. You can use a the bmp, gif, jpeg, jpg, png, tiff, emf, or svg file extension.
After you select the background file, it will be is copied to the "Bmp" folder located in the Axxon PSIM installation directory.

| For the correct operation of the interactive map in the distributed configuration, you must synchronize the "Bmp" folders must be synchronized on all computers in the distributed system. The folders are synchronized automatically. For this, you need to must start the Client client as an Administratoradministrator. |
In the Width and Height fields, specify the resolution of the selected file in pixels. The values specified in the Width and Height fields This resolution must correspond to the real resolution of the selected used file.
Select To select the layer background as followsbackground color, do the following:
In Clear the File field in the Settings dialog window, clear the File field.
From the Background color drop-down list, select the layer background color.

The background color will be is applied only after you close the the Map editor utility window and opening reopen it again. |
To select an external map as a background, select the previously created and configured Map Serverserver object from the Background server drop-down list (see Configuring the external Map server).

If you select an external map as a background, the layer it is automatically binded bound to the geographical coordinates (see see Configuring map binding to coordinate grid). |
To apply all changes, click the OK button in the Settings dialog window.
The After you complete all the above steps, the Map editor utility will display a displays the new graphical plan of the protected facility.
