By default, the Axxon PSIM local database is used as a data source for to display the State state statistics displaying. In order to use a remote database, configure the connection to it as follows:

1. On the settings panel of the State statistics object, go to the DB tab.

2. By default, statistics are updated once every 60 seconds. If necessary, you can change the update frequency by entering a new value in seconds in the Statistics update frequency (s) field. We don't recommend setting the frequency to less than 5 seconds.
3. Click the Connection dialog button on the State statistics object settings panel (1).

4. In the Server list, specify the SQL server to connect to (1)which you want to connect.

   If the Server list contains the required SQL server, then no further connection configuration is needed.

   	Note	When working you work in a distributed configuration, it is necessary to you must specify the computer name where name of the computer on which the database is located, without using the value (local). For example, "WS1\SQLEXPRESS", where WS1 is the name of the computer where on which the database is located.

5. If it is necessary to enter the login and password for the SQL server authorization, unset the Use trusted connection checkbox (2)clear the Use Trusted Connection checkbox. As a result, the Login ID and Password fields will become editable.

   If you set the Use trusted connection check box is setTrusted Connection checkbox, then the SQL server authorization will be is performed using with the Windows credentials.

6. To specify the additional connection parameters, click the Options >> button (3).
   1. In From the opened field, from the Database list (4) Database drop-down list, select the database where the events should must be stored.
   2. From the Language drop-down list (5), select the language of the SQL server system messages.
   3. In the Application Name field (6) field, enter the application name (the default one value is Axxon PSIM).
   4. In the Workstation WorkStation ID field (7), enter the computer name (the default one value is the computer identifier in Windows OS).

7. Click OK to save the settings.
