You can create IP devices in Axxon PSIM as follows:

  1. Go to the Hardware tab tab (1) in the System settings dialog box (1).

  2. In the object tree, select the Camera Computer object (2) corresponding to the configured Server (2)server.
  3. Click the Camera discovery tool button (3) on the setting settings panel of the selected object (3).

    Video capture cards can also be displayed in the list.     By default, the list also displays the found obsolete archive devices that are no longer supported in the installed version of the Drivers Pack version.     Click column name to sort devices by value in the column. Data are window, click the name of the corresponding column. The data is sorted alphabetically, including IP addresses. For example, when you sort IP addresses are sorted in ascending order, 10.0.12.98 is lower than 10.0.12.252 in the list.

  5. Check the correctness of the brand Check up the vendor (2), model (3) and , and firmware (4) for the found IP device. Make changes if necessary If necessary, make changes by opening the drop-down list and selecting the required value.
  6. From the drop-down list (5), select which settings which should must be installed set on the IP -device while its adding device when you add it to the device hardware tree: leave installed the specified device settings or apply the video server settings.
  7. Check up the correctness of the TCP/IP port (8). Specify If necessary, specify the required value in the field.
  8. Specify the login (6) and password (7) to connect the IP device. Login and password are specified in the documentation for the connected network device.
  9. If necessary, add additional information to the beginning of the names of created objects (for example, the path where the object is located). Enter this information the value in the Added string field String to add field (12). You can use Limitations: Latin and Cyrillic letters and , service characters except for the > and < symbolscharacters; the number of characters limit is up to 60 including the length of the object name, which is set by default. The setting will be is applied to the selected objects which you can select in the next step.
  10. Select the objects that are to be created under you want to create on the basis of the IP device.

    2. Set the checkboxes for next to the objects that are you want to be createdcreate.

  11. Click the Apply button for one device each selected device (9) or for all selected devices (11) if several devices are selected.
    The selected objects are created automatically in the Hardware object tree on the Hardware tab. 
     

  12. Repeat steps 4-8 for each IP device that is you want to be created create in the system.

    To delete the IP - device from the IP Wizard window Camera discovery tool window, right-click the corresponding line in the table and select the Delete camera <IP address> from the list item.
