Before configuring calibration of points you configure the points calibration in the camera FoVFOV, you must configure the PTZ camera is to be configured: create and configure the Camera object and (see Configuring PTZ IP cameras), and create the corresponding Telemetry controller and PTZ device objects (see see Configuring PTZ IP cameras and Configuring PTZ devices (Telemetry Controllers)). Calibration of points You can configure the points calibration in the camera FoV is performed FOV on the settings panel of the PTZ device object corresponding to the PTZ camera used to track objects.

 

Calibration of points in the camera FoV sets FOV allows you to set the correspondence between the camera absolute coordinates of the camera and the coordinate grid of the map (geographical or relative). Minimum of 6 points must be used for calibration.
Configure To calibrate, you must use at least six points.

To configure the calibration of points in the camera FoV as followsFOV, do the following:

  1. Go to the settings panel of the PTZ device object corresponding to the PTZ camera used to track objects.

  2. Go to the Calibration tab (1).

  3. Select a point on the interactive map.
  4. Rotate the camera lens so that the selected point is located approximately in the center of the video image received from the camera.
  5. Click the ... button in the Update column (2). As a result, in the corresponding line the the pan (3), tilt (4), and zoom (5) fields will be are filled with the current absolute coordinates of the camera in the corresponding line.
  6. In the x (6) and y (7) fields specify , enter the point coordinates of points on the map corresponding to the selected position of the camera.
  7. Repeat steps 3-6 for all points of calibration points.
  8. Click the Apply button (8).

Calibration of Configuring the points calibration in the camera FoV FOV is now configuredcomplete.
