To reindex the archive files after its changing you change it (for example, after copying new video recordings to one or several archive disks), do the following:

1. Start the index.exe utility (see Starting and shutting down the index.exe utility section).
2. In

3. the window that opens, select archive disks for reindexing by setting
checkbox
4. the checkboxes next to the required disks (1).
Check Select All to set all checkboxes

   The utility displays all available system disks, including the mountednetwork ones. The unmountednetworkdisks selected for video archive recording in Axxon PSIM aren't displayed.

6. To select all disks for video archive reindexing, set the Select all checkbox (2).

7. To start reindexing, click

9. The reindexing process is displayed in the field (4).

15. When you finish reindexing, shut the window of utilityWhen the process is complete, close the utility window by clicking the Image Added button.

Reindexing of archive files is completedcomplete.

To reindex archive files without using the dialog boxwindow, in the command line, start the index_fs.exe utility with parameters. For instance, the "index.exe C, D" command will reindex archive files on disks C and D. To reindex archive files on all disks, use the "all" parameter

Examples:

• index_fs --drives=C:\,E:\,\\172.19.2.77\VIDEO—reindex video archive files on the specified disks.
