Axxon One One uses the Event source object to get events from external eventssystems. To create the object, make sure thatdo the following:

Run
1. Go to the IP Device Discovery Wizard on the Devices tab (
see 
2. see Searching, adding, configuring, and removing IP devices).
3. In the form for manually adding
an IP device
4. a device in the Device type field, select Event source
 in the Device type drop
5. from the drop-down list.
   Image Modified
6. In the Vendor field, select the required manufacturer of the device from the drop-down list.
7. Click
the 
8. the Image Modified button.

The Event source object is added to the system.
