General information

This action sends emails to specified addresses. You can attach exported videos or frames to an email.

Configuring an action

To configure this action, do the following:

  1. Go to the Programming tab.
  2. In the Event rules or Cycle rules list, click Create... (see Configuring macros).
  3. Select a start condition that triggers a macro (see

  5. Configuration of start conditions).
  6. Click the Image Modified button below start conditions.
  7. From the drop-down list, select Notification: Send e-mail.
  8. Specify the following parameters:
    1. Email notifier—select the system object for the email notification when a macro starts (see Email notifier).

    2. To—enter the email address to which you want to send the message.

      • You can enter several email addresses separated by a comma or semicolon.
      • Notifications are also sent to the email addresses you specified when configuring the Email notifier object (see Email notifier).
    3. Subject—subject of the email notification that will be sent when a macro starts.
    4. Messageenter the text that must be sent in the email notification when a macro starts.

    5. In the Export agent parameter, select an export agent.
    6. In the Camera parameter, select a camera or group of cameras.
    7. If necessary, you can attach exported video or a frame to your message. To do this, you must add and configure additional parameters (you can add them by clicking the Image Modified button). Configuration of these parameters is identical to configuration of export (see Start export).

    1. Configuration of start conditions) and you want to send the frames from all cameras in the group in a single email message. If you don't set the checkbox, there is a separate email for each camera in the group.
  11. Click the Apply Image Modified button.
