To set up configure the LPR channel detector parameters, do the following:

1. Go to the settings panel of the LPR channel object corresponding to the activated software module (see Activating the software module used for identifying the plates).

2. Enter Set the value in the Area search threshold field parameter (1).

3. Set the Max. width and Max. height parameters:

   1. Click the Image Removed the Image Added (2) button next to the parameters. Interactive interface of for setting up the zone parameters showing the , representing an image from the corresponding camera will be , is displayed.

   2. At the appropriate moment, click the Stop video button and , then hold the mouse while dragging it across the required area and click select the required zone area using the left mouse button and click the OK button.

      You can select the required zone area in the same way in the Real Time Video mode as well.

      Results of setting the zone parameters will be are automatically entered in the the Max. width and Max. height fields.

4. Set the Min. width and Min. height parameters by analogy with similarly to the Max. width and Max. height parameters using the Image Removed the Image Added button (3).

5. If necessary, set the Cut image with vehicle checkbox (4).

6. If necessary, set the Allow recognition by request checkbox (5).

   Image recognition by request works only for the RR(seeSearching for a license plate by image)and VT (see Search for a license plate by image for the VT recognition module) modules. For this, use the POST http://IP address:port/lprserver/FindNumbersByImage query. The response can contain the following mistakes Image Added In this case, the Allow recognition by request checkbox isn't set. Image Added In this case, an image of the incorrect base64 format is used: you must convert the video frame to the JPEG format but not save it in the JPG format. Image Added In this case, you used the Uragan module during the operation; image recognition by request isn't supported.

7. Click the Apply button (6).
