General information
This action checks recorded video if there is at least one recording interval in the archive from a specific particular camera or a group of cameras for the specified period.
Configuring an action
To configure this action, do as follows:the following:
- Go to the Programming tab.
- In the Event rules or Cycle rules list, click Create... (see Configuring macros).
- Select a start condition that triggers a macro (see Configuring start conditions).
- Click the button below start conditions.
- From the drop-down list, select Check that archive record exists. Select a camera or a group of cameras to verify their video footage (1).
- In the Camera parameter, select a camera or group of cameras to check if there is a record in the archive
Note title Attention! If
the start of the macro was triggered by the activation of a macro is initiated by an event from an input or output (see Configuring
filters for event-driven macrosstart conditions) that is not connected to any camera, you need to select a specific camera
herefor this action. If you select a group of cameras or a camera that
triggered initiated the
commandmacro, the action
will not doesn't start.
Select - In the Record to parameter, select an archive where
- in which you want to check if recorded video is available (2)
- that archive record exists. If you leave the field empty
- blank, all recorded video in the camera's archives is checked.Specify how far back in the past to scan (3). The verification time period covers:
- the check is performed in all archives associated with this camera.
- In the Depth of check parameter, specify the depth of archive check. The check covers [the time of the action start - (minus) the depth of the check; start time of the action]. Select a reaction
- In the Execute if video in archive parameter, select an action if the archive entries are found (4).Select a reaction if the archive entries are not found (5)
- record for the specified period is found.
- In the Execute if no video in archive parameter, select an action if the archive record for the specified period isn't found.
