This section describes the default parameters of the color indication of the surveillance window outline. You can change the these parameters during the system configuration—see Configuring the interface of the Surveillance window. |
The color of the surveillance window outline indicates displays the current camera statusstate.
Color of the surveillance window outline | Camera statusstate |
Green | Camera is disarmed |
Yellow | Camera is armed |
Red | Camera is armed, an alarm event is registered on the camera. OR Camera is disarmed, but one or more detection areas zones are alarmed, and an alarm event is detected in them—see also Indication of detection tool statusdetector status |

The current state of cameras is saved in the STATES table of the Axxon PSIM database every 15 seconds. |
The outline color The color of the outline of the camera number in the surveillance window indicates displays the current status state of the video recording performed from the this camera.
Color of the camera number outline | Camera statusstate |
Green | Video isn't recorded. Camera is disarmed |
Yellow | Video isn't recorded. Camera is armed |
Red | Video is being recorded |
The combinations combination values of thesurveillance window outline color and the color of the camera number outline are described in the following table.:

When you arm or disarm a camera of an by the additional detection areazone, the outline of the surveillance window outline doesn't change its color, but when an alarm event is registered on the additional detection areazone, the outline of the surveillance window outline turns red. Thus, there is no the indication of the camera arming or disarming a camera of an by additional detection area for the outline of the zones isn't performed with the surveillance window outline. The icon of the video signal absence absence appears below over the icon of "camera number" only icon when there is no video signal. It can be in two cases: the camera isn't connected, or the camera is being restarted.

The last video frame or blue screen (, depending on the video capture card) , is displayed in the surveillance window if there is no video signal. |
The icon of the selected disk absence appears above the icon of "camera number" icon if you don't select the disk for archive storage isn't selected (see Selecting the (see Select disks for video archive storage).
The icon of the overloaded disk appears above the icon of "camera number" icon if there are frames skipped during the archive recording to archive (it means (that is, the FRAME_SKIPPED events are received, see CAM Camera). You can enable disable the indication of frames skipping with the ShowFrameSkippedStatus ShowoutlineSkippedStatus key, see Registry keys reference guide.
When you specify the incorrect camera type is given, the icon of disconnection with the camera camera appears above the icon of "camera number" icon, " and the outline of the surveillance window outline turns black.
