You can protect the selected part of archive fragment from the data loss at the archive from being overwritten. To do overwriting. For this, do the following:

  1. Create
    2. a new
  2. the additional archive (see Creating
    3. an archive
  3. archives) and configure
    4. on-demand replication for it
  4. in it the replication by demand (see Configuring data replication).
  5. Switch to the
    6. Archive
  6. archive mode (
    7. see
  7. Switching to the Archive mode).
  8. Click the Timeline panel button.
    1. Specify the time interval on the timeline (see Standard video recordings export). Recordings from this interval are copied to the new archive.

    2. Click the button Image Removed.

      3. In the Export folder field, select the archive to which the selected recordings will be copied.

      1. Place the timeline pointer at the beginning of the interval.
      2. Click the Set beginning of period Image Added button.
      3. Scroll the timeline and place the pointer at the end of the interval.
      4. Click the Set end of period Image Added button.
    4. Click the Actions with archive Image Added button.
    5. In the window that opens, click the Replicate archive item.
    6. In the Replicate archive window that opens, specify the parameter settings that are specified in the table:
      Replicate archive
      From[date], [month], [year], [hours], [minutes], [seconds]

      Specify the date and time interval for the archive replication. Data from this range is copied to the additional archive

      • You cannot maintain archive recording over the existing data.

    12. Click the Export button (2).

      Replicate to archive
      		From the drop-down list, select the archive to which you want to replicate data
    14. Click the Replicate Image Added button. To cancel actions, click the Cancel Image Added button.

    The video recording fragment is copied to the selected archive.
    Image Added    Selected recordings are copied to the specified archive.
