By default, the video stream is recorded to the archive with the same frame rate as the video capture card digitizes it. Thus, to reduce the archive sizein Axxon PSIM, you can configure the frame rate value of this parameter.

To change the recording frame rate of the video stream, do the following:
- Go to the Hardware tab in the System settings window.
- Select the Camera object corresponding to the required camera

Specify Set the
recording frame rate value
in of the Recording frame
rate field. The _fps parameter. This value mustn't exceed the digitization frame rate value.
The value set for the Recording frame
rate _fps parameter allows calculating the time interval (msec) in which a frame must be captured for archive recording. You can calculate according to the formula:
Interval Time interval = 1000 / Value specified in the Recording frame

Info title Note When setting you set the value of the Recording frame rate_fps parameter, you must note the video digitizing rate by the video capture card and the frame rate (fps) settings in the system. Otherwise, the actual recording speed can differ from the set one. - Click the
