By default, the video stream is recorded to the archive with the same frame rate as the video capture card digitizes it. Thus, to reduce the archive sizein Axxon PSIM, you can configure the frame rate value of this parameter.

To change the recording frame rate of the video stream, do the following:
Set the
value
of the Recording frame
_fps parameter. This value mustn't exceed the digitization frame rate value.
The value set for the Recording frame
_fps parameter allows calculating the time interval (msec) in which a frame must be captured for archive recording. You can calculate according to the formula:
Time interval = 1000 / Value specified in the Recording frame

| _fps parameter, you must note the video digitizing rate by the video capture card and the frame rate (fps) settings in the system. Otherwise, the actual recording speed can differ from the set one. |
