If a camera has an embedded storage, the system automatically creates the corresponding object. 

To configure an embedded storage, do the following:

  1. Go to the Devices tab.
  2. Select the

  8. In the Enable parameter, select the Yes value to enable an embedded storage.
  9. If necessary, in the Name parameter, enter the name of the object.
  10. If necessary, in the Cache depth parameter, enter the depth of record caching in days. The setting enables background caching of information about recording intervals to RAM

    Specifies the period (in days) during which the information on recordings is preloaded into RAM to speed up the operation. The background caching speeds up the display and processing of the archive data. The recommended value depends on the intensity of operation with the archive. With the 0 value (default), caching is disabled. The value must be in the range [0, 365]

Configuration of an embedded storage is complete. If an embedded storage is enabled in the system, the data from it are available for viewing (see Selecting an archive) and replication to the system archive (see see Configuring data replication).
