The Surveillance window can be in two states – activated or deactivated — active or inactive. The activatedactive Surveillance window is a window that is in focus at the moment. Other windows are considered deactivatedinactive. You can move the focus by clicking on other Surveillance windows.

The Video surveillance monitor with the enabled Active camera mode (see Configuring the display mode for of camera boxeswindows) is called the Active Monitor. In case both Active Monitor and GreenStream are configured (see Configuring an auto select automatic selection of video stream for displayingdisplay), the video stream in this Video surveillance monitor will depend on the Active Monitor window size.
