In Axxon PSIM, video is videos are archived to a the storage device. When After you install Axxon PSIM is installed, set select the local disks to save the archive to in on the Hardware tab of the Computer object.

To select the disks for the archive, do the following:

  1. Go to the Hardware tab in the System settings dialog box window (1).
  2. Select the Computer object corresponding to the configured Server server in the objects tree of the Hardware tab (2). The settings panel for of the selected object is displayed on the right side of the the Hardware tab. Each local disk available for archiving has the check checkbox of the same name in the Disks for storing the archive group Archive disks group (3).

  3. Set the relevant check checkbox in the Video column next to the disk that you want to be selectedselect. Local, network, and USB disks are available for storing (details for more information on adding network disks are in Using , see Usage of network disks section).

If no you don't select any disk for storing video recordings is selected, the video will not be a video isn't saved to the archive. In this case, the icon of the missing disk for recording the archive will appear appears in the lower left corner of the Surveillance surveillance window. You can hide remove this icon by creating the the ShowDetachedState=0 registry key (see Registry keys reference guide, for more information on working with the registry, see Working with Windows OS registry).
